Mobility is often framed as something universal, but in reality, the ability to move freely is shaped by cost, speed, and access. For this project, I explored transportation not simply as infrastructure, but as a quiet form of hierarchy. By turning mobility into currency, I wanted to make visible the unequal systems that determine who gets to move farther, faster, and more comfortably.

Each bill represents a different mode of transportation: the subway as the most affordable and widely accessible option, the taxi as a more private and paid convenience, and the airplane as the fastest and most expensive form of movement. Together, they form a visual hierarchy where transportation becomes a stand in for privilege. Through denomination, color, iconography, and layout, I designed each note to communicate value at a glance while questioning who truly has the freedom to move.
